• Address Daphne shrub’s health: showing signs of stress through dry leaves but moist soil
• Benefits plant roots being able to breathe + drink rather than sit in compacted moist or stagnant dense clay
PURPOSE + METHOD
• Increase drainage to Daphne plant + the whole garden bed
• Use French Drain / “Filter Mix” of sequentially smaller filtration elements to
filter water from sod area
• Use ‘Filter Mix’ to amend soil for Daphne plant
