This collection is suggested to create both a colorful uplifting aesthetic “look and feel” while functioning well together as native or adapted species that can remain hardy to the local elements. That said, plants are living beings and they do require watering throughout the season, so to keep them alive we recommend setting a weekly alarm on your phone (eg for April-Oct) or install a hose and timer on the outdoor spigot.

TIPS
Plant Toxicity List
BE PET SAFE While we do our best to offer child-and-pet-safe species, we cannot guarantee all our suggestions either in the plant list, or when we are not directly overseeing plant species selection, installation, care, or use. For peace of mind, please always check listed plants for potential toxicity for pets, kids, and all humans. You can find any plant on the ASPCA “plant toxicity list” featured below, do a little research online, or ask your local master gardener or vendor to make sure you feel safe using it in your garden. Thank You.
Pest Resistant List
RABBIT OR DEER RESISTANT PLANT LIST It should be noted that any animal will eat a plant if it’s hungry, so this list is simply less tasty. For gardens that see a fair amount of rabbits or deer in the neighborhood, here are specific plants you may consider using in your design, either in addition to or in place of some in your plant list.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
Our plants are selected with your microclimate in mind— including sun, soil, and water conditions, species variety, seasonal fruiting or bloom times, companion planting, nitrogen fixers, pollinator attractors, natural pest resistance, aesthetics and overall balance. With over a decade in the industry working on the front range in this high alpine zone, we believe these selections are well suited to bring your garden to life.
Images for plant lists are intended for concept only. Individual results may vary. We offer no guarantee applicable under all circumstances. Please use plant images for general information, concept, and planning purposes only.
Please note that once plants are installed, they require appropriate maintenance and care to oversee their adaptation to the new environment. It is your responsibility to help your new plants transition, settle in, and receive appropriate care. Though we may recommend a species, prep, or care tips, we simply cannot be responsible for actual implementation or results. Resources abound. Talk with your local garden center rep, or research on your own for further tips on keeping your plants healthy during all seasons. If you have any additional questions, reach out. It is our intention to educate. See you in the garden!
