Welcome To The Sacred Mirror

A mystical and science-based immersion revealing the reflection of

Humanity in Ecology + Ecology in Humanity

Session 1) An informative talk and guided discussion on sacred geometry and the web of life.

An introduction to and discovery of the chakras as our tools of scientific and mystical perception.

Discovery of maps + a discussion of how the sacred mirror can be seen all around and at various scales.

• Introduction to nature-based patterns such as the the Flower of Life and the expanded web of interconnection inherent in all life

• introduction to human-based patterns, specifically the chakra ‘lenses’ of perception, from personal to inter-personal, to eco-personal, and unity awareness

• introduction to systems that elegantly show the inter-relationship of patterns at scale in both nature and humanity such as Astrology and Human Design

TOOLKITS TO EXPLORE

SACRED GEOMETRY | ASTROLOGY | HUMAN DESIGN | CHAKRAS | WORLDVIEWS

“It [Astrology] is not a question of belief; the scientific attitude one should take on any subjet is where it is true. The law of gravitation worked as efficiently before Newton as after him. The cosmos would be fairly chaotic if its laws could not operate without the sanction of human belief. Charletans have brought hte ancient stellar science to its present [disarray or] disrepute. Astrology is too vast, both mathematically and philosophically, to be rightly grasped except by those of profound understanding. If some misread the heavens, and see there a scrawl instead of a script, that is to be expected in this imperfect world. One should not dismiss the wisdom with the ‘wise’. All parts of creation are linked together and interchange their influences. The balanced rhythm of the univers is rooted in reciprocity… Astrology is the study of human response to planetary stimuli… A child is born when and where the celestial rays are in mathematical harmony with individual karma [momentum]… This life is not meant to emphasize fate, rather to arouse our understanding and will toescape from universal thralldom, to know that what one has done one can undo and overcome any limitation because it was created or set in motion by ones own actions in response to the whole…”

— Sri Yukteswar (guru of Swami Paramahansa Yogananda from Autobiography of a Yogi)

Session 2) An outdoor guided experiential practice in meditation + universal meaning-making.

Introduction to guided meditation to invite a natural and subtle shift in perspective. Your invitation to personally engage the sacred mirror of perception.

Learning to align your inner tools of perception with nature-based-patterns for personal discovery.

Using creative perception for sacred meaning-making in everyday life.

• Learning and experiential based practices designed to invite reflective self awareness and a deeper and wider perspective of engagement with all life

• Explore meaning making in the web of all life: How does our uniqueness connect us to all life? How does our perception allow us to honor self in others and in nature all around us?

TOOLKIT TO EXPLORE

CONTEMPLATION | MEDITATION | MEANING-MAKING | CONVERSATION WITH THE UNIVERSE

“The universe, the divine, is talking with us everyday in such a personal way. Look around, and learn how you will give yourself permission to believe that what is happening is how the Divine is talking directly to you. What symbols, animals, conversations, words, music, synchronicities, qualities do you notice that have meaning for you and therefore ‘speak’ to you? Set your intentions, say your prayers, and have a conversation with the Divine everyday — ask how to be in greater harmonic alignment — for the universe is a reflection of you.”                  — Rebecca Maria Carlson

Session 3) A self-guided reflective practice with gentle one-on-one intuitive guidance from Rebecca.

Practice perceiving the interconnection of all things and beings with the toolkits above. Keep exploring.

Gain reflection for self and from the sharing circle. Share insight with others for the benefit of all.

• Guided wisdom contemplations, practices, and experientials

• Sharing circle for questions and gifts of personal or collective experience

TOOLKIT TO EXPLORE

EARTH ENERGY | AWARENESS: PLACEMENT + MOVEMENT OF | LISTENING TO SIGNS | SHARING KIND PERCEPTIONS

“The earth by itself, without human beings, is no more a true reality than the rose plucked from the rose tree. These things must be pondered and worked upon; they must not remain theories but pass over into our feelings. We must feel ourselves members of the whole earth.”

— Rudolf Steiner, esoteric adventurer and father of Anthroposophy

“Each individual and child is in their natural setting amidst the flowers and songbirds. There they may more easily express the hidden wealth of their individual endowment. True education is not pumped and crammed in from outward sources, but aims in bringing to the surface the the infinite hoards of wisdom within.”

— Rabindranath Tagore, a Bengali polymath who worked as a poet, writer, playwright, composer, philosopher, social reformer, and painter

Having a conversation with a friend, with my dogs, with the mountains. Witnessing the universe from my ‘window on the world’, which is to say being aware of the daily perspective that shines through me, a reflection of the grand turning of the wheel and all the new possibility we are living into each day beyond the past momentum.
